Incasgypsy Soft Textiles (“Incasgypsy”, “we”, “us”) operates from Shop B, 42 Gage Street, Central, Hong Kong. This policy explains how we collect and use personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”) and guidance from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).

Data we collect

When you contact us by form, email, or phone, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, property district, and message content. For measuring and fitting we may keep window dimensions, fabric preferences, and delivery notes needed to complete your order. We do not seek identity card numbers for ordinary curtain enquiries.

Purpose of use

We use personal data to reply to enquiries, schedule visits, prepare quotations, fulfil made-to-measure orders, and provide after-service adjustments. We do not sell personal data. If we ever wish to use data for a new purpose, we will seek your consent where the PDPO requires it.

Retention

Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to complete the conversation or order, then deleted or archived securely. Order records may be retained for a reasonable period for accounting and warranty follow-up, then securely disposed of.

Access and correction

Under the PDPO you may request access to personal data we hold about you and ask for correction of inaccurate data. Send requests to [email protected] or write to Shop B, 42 Gage Street, Central, Hong Kong. We may need to verify your identity before releasing data. You may also contact the PCPD for independent advice about your privacy rights in Hong Kong.

Security and transfers

We take practicable steps to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Hosting or email tools may process data outside Hong Kong; where that occurs we seek providers that apply appropriate safeguards. Website analytics, if enabled after your cookie choice, are used only to understand aggregate visits—not to build unrelated marketing profiles.
